As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists customers, answering questions and resolving concerns.
• Maintains a positive presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensures the store is clean and well-stocked.
• Supervises, trains, and develops store associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assists in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Helps in ordering merchandise and record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supports loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
