Overview

We are seeking a resourceful, driven, adaptable, and customer-focused team member to work as an Assistant Store Manager. This role supports the Store or General Manager in daily store operations, supervises employees and tasks, works directly with customers, and plays a key role in executing management directives. Skills in cash handling, customer service, team building, and problem solving are essential daily tools.

Responsibilities
  • Support all store operations and departments alongside the Store Manager or General Manager.
  • Participate in purchasing, operational management, scheduling, and team development.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, help meet or exceed sales goals, identify business opportunities, and motivate the team.
  • Involve in training, directing, and counseling staff to promote excitement and engagement with products and initiatives.
  • Enhance customer experiences to foster loyalty and measurable results.
Expectations
  • Develop knowledge of all store departments to support and guide customers and team members.
  • Assign and oversee work activities to ensure service, sales, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to assist and answer questions.
  • Handle customer and employee issues promptly and respectfully.
  • Assist in hiring and training new staff.
  • Keep the sales floor appealing, organized, and clean.
  • Assist with sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent movement within the store.
  • Ability to remain stationary for periods.
  • Frequent lifting and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial and customer service principles.
  • Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
