SmartStop Self Storage in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #1322. This role handles leasing storage, supervises a small team, assists with maintenance, and coordinates on-site tasks to keep tenants satisfied.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, starting at $19.00/hour plus a monthly bonus, and benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) match. Reliable transportation and a background check are required.

• Customer service experience and selling skills for storage solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1322 - Albuquerque, NM)

Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on‑site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 5:00pm; Sun 11:00am - 5:00pm

Starting at $19.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self‑storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
