Job summary

7-Eleven in the United States seeks a Retail Assistant Manager to join a fast-paced store leadership team. You will support the Store Leader, coach staff, and drive customer service excellence with a focus on operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience in retail management.
• Must be able to multi-task and coach a team to deliver customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store staff.
• Demonstrate strength in retention by developing leaders, empowering employees, and improving productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment by following health and sanitation procedures.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Utilize computer tools (MS Word/Excel) to manage daily tasks.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain insurance where required.
• Able to multi-task and perform repetitive bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
