Job summary

Dollar Tree in Spring, Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Responsibilities include organizing merchandise, aiding in payroll and scheduling, and training Store Associates to uphold company standards while delivering strong service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise; payroll, scheduling, cash handling
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including cleanliness and displays
• Protect and secure assets, including store cash
• Train and develop Store Associates and ensure policy compliance
