Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Rosemount, MN to help run store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with daily store functions, merchandise handling, payroll and scheduling, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and associates.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and adherence to company policies with opportunities to grow within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., and handle frequent movement and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities.
• Maintain fixtures and displays and ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secured assets.
• Protect assets and follow safety policies; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
