Job summary

Range USA, Valley View, OH, seeks an Assistant Store Leader to drive sales and lead daily operations in a safe, customer-focused environment. You will partner with the Store Leader to improve sales performance, maintain standards, and uphold regulatory and safety requirements.

The role emphasizes coaching and developing associates, managing scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring merchandising and POS system efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales or leadership experience.
• Led teams of 10 or more associates.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Experience in coaching, performance management, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience: Support achievement of store sales goals through exceptional customer service and team execution.
• Operations & Store Management: Schedule staff to match customer traffic and business needs; manage opening/closing, cash handling, and receipts/dispositions.
• People Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate team members; develop growth plans.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to ATF regulations and internal firearm handling policies; maintain OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Administrative & Execution: Monitor policy adherence, timekeeping, scheduling approvals, and assist across store functions.
