Foot Locker in Oklahoma City is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the floor with energy, coach the team, and help the Store Manager drive sales while delivering an exceptional sneaker and lifestyle experience.

You will lead with urgency, own store execution, manage daily operations, and use retail tech to enhance the customer journey. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, culture-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail leadership experience or key holder role.
• Strong coaching and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged and closing customer loops.
• Open/close store, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, ready for customers, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Provide Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring/training.
• Coach teammates in real time and address performance gaps.
• Step in to support priorities as needed.
