Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Fresno, CA.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling while ensuring safety and policy compliance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and follow directives.
• Retail store management experience in grocery or discount retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to floor and stockroom.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing associates.
