Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to support the Store Director and help oversee all departments. You’ll ensure staffing, training, and efficient operations while monitoring financial aspects such as purchasing, payroll, and expenses to sustain profitability.

You’ll work on maintaining a well-presented, customer-friendly store with strong team supervision, regular communication with staff, and adherence to corporate plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Admin or related field.
• Three years of experience in a retail grocery environment with increasing responsibility.
• One year of supervisory/lead experience in retail preferred.
• Proficient with computers (email, spreadsheets).
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Accounting/Bookkeeping skills and ability to analyze financials.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Store Director and help manage all store areas.
• Ensure departments are staffed, trained, and operating efficiently.
• Monitor purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll and expenses to maintain profitability.
• Maintain store premises, safety, and appearance; execute corporate plans.
