Exemplar Luxury Group's Saks OFF 5th in Boca Raton seeks an Assistant Store Director, Operations to lead daily back‑of‑house performance and drive operational excellence. You will coordinate workload planning, inventory control, freight flow and digital tool adoption to support store profitability and an outstanding guest experience.

Reporting to the Store Director, you will implement process improvements, manage budgets, and mentor the operations team while upholding a customer‑first culture.

Job Description

As the Assistant Store Director, Operations, you will play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence and supporting overall store performance. You will oversee all operational processes, from workload planning and freight flow to inventory management and digital tool adoption, ensuring a smooth and efficient back‑of‑house operation. This role focuses on optimizing store operations to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while actively contributing to the broader business strategy. You’ll partner closely with the Store Director and leadership team to implement operational strategies, drive process improvements, and cultivate a customer‑first culture that supports store growth.

What You Will Do

• Manage operational workload planning, balancing efficiency with business needs

• Manage the planning, timelines, budget and communication of all required operational processes through workload planning and effective scheduling

• Lead a culture of customer‑first decision‑making, ensuring all operations enhance the shopping experience

What You Will Bring

• 3+ years of experience in retail operations, with proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong understanding of operational processes, inventory management, andfreight flow
• Experience with workload planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Comfortable using data and reporting tools to make business decisions and drive improvements
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with digital tools and technology platforms used in retail environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and develop teams
• Proven ability to align operational strategies with business goals and enhance overall store performance

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher‑cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job‑related factors.
