You will partner with the Store Director to drive performance, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with company policies.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to forecast weekly sales, schedule labor, monitor costs, and motivate a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of assistant manager experience OR two years as a department manager in multi-department operations (retail/high-volume service).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills required.
• Perishable inventory management experience desired.
• Solid understanding of overall store operations and leadership abilities.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Director, including cash, inventory, customer service and staff management.
• Forecast weekly/daily sales goals and take action to meet or exceed targets.
• Communicate goals and performance to staff to drive results.
• Schedule labor in line with sales and productivity guidelines and manage wage budgets.
• Support Store Director with strategies to improve product placement and promotions.
• Ensure displays are accurate and maintain in-stock conditions; supervise maintenance and safety.
