Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director (ASD) to lead store operations, drive sales, and champion customer service. You will partner with the Store Director and HR to ensure staffing, training, and effective leadership across the store.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment. The ASD will assume store leadership in the Store Director’s absence and support all aspects of store performance, including merchandising, labor

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive retail leadership experience required, including salaried/exempt leadership.
• Experience in grocery or big-box retail preferred; able to lead large teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive store conditions, sales, and team leadership through operational excellence.
• Lead hiring, coaching, and development of store associates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, wage and hour laws and company policies.
• Analyze sales and labor data to identify improvement opportunities.
