The role covers scheduling, payroll, training, budgeting, security, merchandising, labor optimization, and daily communications with teams and departments to execute company strategies while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 1 year of assistant manager experience in a multi-department operation OR 2 years as a department manager.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
• Perishable inventory management experience.
• Solid understanding of overall store operations and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of store operations during the Store Director's absence, including staff, cash, inventory, and customer service.
• Forecast, align labor, and schedule according to sales goals and wage budgets.
• Communicate sales goals and opportunities with staff to drive results.
• Support strategy execution for product placement and store appearance.
• Monitor promotions, merchandising, and in-stock conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, wage/hour, and policy requirements.
• Lead, train, and evaluate store employees with development opportunities.
