Job summary

Elk River High School is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach for Spring 2027. The coach will provide leadership and expertise on rules, strategies, and safe play to prepare players to compete at the highest level.

Responsibilities include planning successful practices and games, guiding staff, encouraging participation, maintaining equipment, supervising facilities, and collaborating with the Activities Director, families, and community resources while upholding MSHSL and district policies.

• Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.
• Complies with and supports all school district regulations and policies.
• Develops a program specific handbook.

Description:

The Coach provides leadership and expertise regarding the rules, strategies, and techniques for the assigned activity, utilizing knowledge of the specific equipment, physical fitness and safety to prepare participants mentally and physically to compete at the highest level.
