Qualifications

  • University coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, public relations, management and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Must maintain current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive relationships.
  • Current driver’s license and driver qualification per Assumption University policy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all phases of the Division II Softball program.
  • Organize, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate practice sessions, games, and conditioning programs.
  • Develop strategies to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit potential student-athletes.
  • Coordinate personal development initiatives and community service for student-athletes.
  • Engage in public relations and athletics communications, marketing, and fundraising activities.
