Job summary

Redlandschool is seeking a softball coach to lead the Oregon City High School program starting in the 2026-27 season. The coach must uphold high ethical standards, model professionalism, and oversee all aspects of the high school softball program.

The role requires NFHS/ASEP certification, OSAA/ODE safety tests, and strong communication with staff, parents, and student athletes. This is a full-time position based at Oregon City High School.

Qualifications

• Must be NFHS/ASEP certified.
• Prior to start, must have completed: OSAA Concussion test, ODE Steroid test and OSAA Heat test.
• Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and student athletes.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the high school softball program.
• Coach softball beginning in the 2026-27 season and teach fundamentals and strategy.
• Establish rapport with players and be a positive role model for student athletes.

Position Description

The individual accepting this position will coachsoftball beginning in the2026-27 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy of softball and be supportive of all Oregon City programs. The chosen applicant will help oversee all aspects of the high school softball program.
