Job summary

Oregon City School District in Oregon City is seeking a lacrosse coach for the 2026-27 season at Oregon City High School. The coach will model high ethical standards, work under district guidelines, and be a strong role model for student-athletes.

Job description

Location: Oregon City High School

Position Description

The individual accepting this position will coachlacrosse beginning in the2026-27 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy oflacrosseand be supportive of all Oregon City programs. The chosen applicant will help oversee all aspects of the high schoollacrosse program.

Special Requirements

• Must be NFHS/ASEP certified.
• Prior to start of employment, must have completed: OSAA Concussion test, ODE Steroid test and OSAA Heat test.
• Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and student athletes.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
• Applicants recommended for conditional employment are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal record check at their own expense (presently $12.50 per employee).
