Job summary

Applitrack, serving Oregon City High School, is seeking a lacrosse coach for the 2026-27 season. You will teach the fundamentals, strategy, and teamwork to high school athletes, while upholding district guidelines and acting as a positive role model.

The role involves overseeing all aspects of the lacrosse program and coordinating with administration and staff to ensure a successful season. Certification and mandatory safety tests are required, with an emphasis on punctuality and consistent

Qualifications

• Must be NFHS/ASEP certified.
• Must complete: OSAA Concussion test, ODE Steroid test and OSAA Heat test prior to start.
• Able to communicate effectively with administration, teachers, community, parents and athletes.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Will coach players to develop lacrosse skills and game understanding.
• Fingerprinted and criminal record check required at applicant's expense.

Position Description:

The individual accepting this position will coachlacrosse beginning in the2026-27 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy oflacrosseand be supportive of all Oregon City programs. The chosen applicant will help oversee all aspects of the high schoollacrosse program.

Special Requirements:

1. Must be NFHS/ASEP certified.


2. Prior to start of employment, must have completed: OSAA Concussion test, ODE Steroid test and OSAA Heat test.

4. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.


5. Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.


6. Applicants recommended for conditional employment are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal record check at their own expense (presently $12.50 per employee).
