Job summary

Oregon City School District is seeking a temporary extra-duty Snowboard Coach at Oregon City High School to support the 2025-26 season. You will coach student-athletes, teach fundamentals and strategy, model ethics, and align with district policies.

Ideal candidates have a first aid card, reliable attendance, and NFHS or ASEP certification; fingerprinting/background checks are required. Contact Athletic Director Cody Aker for details.

Qualifications

• Has a valid first aid card.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality.
• NFHS or ASEP certification required at hire.
• Applicants must be fingerprinted and pay for background check.

Responsibilities

• Coach snowboard for the 2025-26 season.
• Teach fundamentals and strategy of snowboarding.
• Serve as a professional role model and build rapport with student-athletes.

Position Description

The individual accepting this temporary extra duty position will assistant in coaching snowboarding for the2025-26 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy of snowboardingand be supportive of all Oregon City programs.
