Applitrack is seeking a basketball coach for Oregon City High School for the 2026-27 season. The coach will model high ethical standards, establish rapport with players, teach fundamentals and strategy, and support all Oregon City programs.

Responsibilities include overseeing the basketball program and working under district and athletic department guidelines; fingerprinting may be required.

The individual accepting this position will coach basketball beginning in the 2026-27 season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school student/athletes, establish rapport with players, teach the fundamentals and strategy ofbasketball and be supportive of all Oregon City programs. The chosen applicant will help oversee all aspects of the high schoolbasketball program.

Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)

• Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and student athletes.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.

REPORTS TO: OCHS ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

POSITION START DATE: 2026-27 SEASON

Applicants recommended for conditional employment are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal record check at their own expense (presently $12.50 per employee).
