Job summary

BLISS Car Wash is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in California to lead daily operations, coach the team, and deliver a fast, friendly guest experience. You will oversee shift performance, drive membership sales, and maintain a safe, clean site.

This hands-on leadership role offers a $750 sign-on bonus, hourly pay with commission, and a path into Site Manager positions. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within BLISS are available to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Drive Unlimited Wash Membership sales and site performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully operational site.
• Train team on service, safety, and sales expectations.
• Step in and lead the site in the Manager’s absence.
• Identify issues quickly and take action.
• Train and assist with scheduled cleaning tasks (tunnel, vacuum area, walkways, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and internal audits.

YOUR ROLE (Leadership + Operations + Sales):

As Assistant Site Manager, you help lead the site day-to-day and set the tone for the team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Leadership experience in retail, car wash, or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Comfortable holding team members accountable to performance standards.
• Ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style.
• Demonstrates ability to improve staff performance through motivation, training, and setting clear expectations.
• Team player.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Fast-paced and active environment.
• Some noise, water, and vehicle/cleaning product exposure.
• Requires standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand/walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Operate car wash equipment as needed
