Job summary

South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. in Framingham, MA is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator, EEC to oversee school-age program operations under the Site Coordinator.

You’ll supervise staff, maintain ratios, assist with curriculum planning, train staff, and ensure smooth operations across disciplines. Qualifications include an Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field, Lead Teacher Certification preferred, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Flexibility and multi-tasking are a must.

• Proficient in curriculum and planning all activities in an age-appropriate manner.

Responsibilities

• Proper supervision and safety of the children are the number one priority.
• Ongoing training and mentoring staff.
• Ensure staff ratios are met at all times.
• Ensure the safety of all the children in their care.
• Upkeep of accurate attendance for bus, daily, weekly, and all other necessary attendances.
• Tour prospective families and answer questions about the program and provide paperwork.
• Meet with children and parents regarding behavior, discipline, and safety.
• Follow all EEC and SMOC regulations, policies, and requirements.
• Conduct SACERS annually.
• Manage day-to-day safety, repairs, and cleanliness inside and out.
• Ensure staff have received 51A training and are mandated reporters.
• Maintain all activity areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Food & Milk ordering and kitchen support.
• Communicate and collaborate with schools, social services, and state agencies.
