Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in management or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a truck service or automotive environment, supervisory experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with computer systems and software for service tracking and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall operations of the Truck Services department, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork and exceptional customer service.
• Monitor workflow, assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safety standards are followed.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and timely service delivery.

• Support revenue growth by monitoring expenses and contributing to financial goals.
• Perform Truck Services Manager duties in their absence.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Shop Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Truck Services Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our Truck Shop. Your responsibilities will include supervising our talented team of technicians, ensuring exemplary customer service, and maintaining operational standards that align with our company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing overall operations of the Truck Services department, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence in customer service.
• Monitor workflow and provide support in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

• Perform the duties of the Truck Services Manager in their absence.

• 3+ years of experience in a truck service or automotive environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
