Job summary

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will support the Service Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Service Department and help lead Advisors and Technicians to deliver excellent customer service.

You will hire, supervise, and train department staff, ensure service concerns are resolved, and foster strong employee relations to keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of automotive service advisor experience.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving.
• Ability to identify problems and implement improvements.

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will be assisting the Service Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Service Department. You will be managing a team of Advisors and Technicians, and will oversee all business and administrative aspects of the service department. The Assistant Service Manager is also responsible for building a loyal clientele and maintaining good employee relations. At Faulkner, we want every single one of our customers to leave satisfied. You must satisfy service concerns of all customers and ensure that service is performed at the highest level. As the Assistant Service Manager, you will also be responsible for hiring, supervising and monitoring the performance of all service department personnel, as well as providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.

Automotive Assistant Service Manager Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School Graduate or Equivalent. College degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in automotive service advisor role preferred
• Ability to identify problems/opportunities, and implement process improvement
• Work well in team environment and promote teamwork
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
