The Faulkner Automotive Group in Pennsylvania is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Assistant Service Manager to join our team. You will assist the Service Manager with day-to-day operations, oversee Advisors and Technicians, and ensure service is performed at a high level while building loyal clientele and maintaining strong employee relations.

• High School Diploma or Vocational/Technical School required.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive service advisor role preferred.
• Ability to identify problems/opportunities and implement process improvements.
• Work well in a team environment and promote teamwork.
• Clear communication both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with day-to-day operations of the Service Department.
• Manage a team of Advisors and Technicians and oversee all business and administrative aspects.
• Build a loyal clientele and maintain good employee relations.
• Hire, supervise and monitor performance of service department personnel.
• Provide training on administrative policies and procedures for all department staff.

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will be assisting the Service Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Service Department. You will be managing a team of Advisors and Technicians, and will oversee all business and administrative aspects of the service department. The Assistant Service Manager is also responsible for building a loyal clientele and maintaining good employee relations. At Faulkner, we want every single one of our customers to leave satisfied. You must satisfy service concerns of all customers and ensure that service is performed at the highest level. As the Assistant Service Manager, you will also be responsible for hiring, supervising and monitoring the performance of all service department personnel, as well as providing training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.

Automotive Assistant Service Manager Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School Graduate or Equivalent. College degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in automotive service advisor role preferred
• Ability to identify problems/opportunities, and implement process improvement
• Work well in team environment and promote teamwork
