Job summary

Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM seeks an Auto Dealership Assistant Service Manager with Service Advisor/Writer experience to oversee the service department operations in a high-volume store in NY. You will support the Service Manager, assist with customer-focused maintenance and repairs, and help generate revenue while maintaining satisfaction, efficiency, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive service writer/advisor experience.
• Prefer automotive assistant service manager experience.
• Good managerial, customer service, and communication skills.
• Team player, organized and customer-focused with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
• Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, dependable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the profitable operation of the Service Department, support the Service Manager, generate revenue, communicate with customers, explain vehicle maintenance and repair services, create estimates, focus on customer satisfaction, and more.
• Understand that the customer is our first priority and assist with satisfaction of each customer with cheerful and knowledgeable communication.
• Assist with accurate and timely estimation and completion of all repair orders.
• Aim for 100% efficiency to help the service department hit monthly CSI targets.
• Assist with accurate reporting of timecards and work orders including tech time sheets.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure correct parts and pricing on repair orders.
• Ensure used materials are charged to each repair order.
• Resolve customer concerns/complaints and demonstrate sound judgment in decisions.
