Job summary

Legend Management Group is seeking an Assistant Service Manager/Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee appearance and upkeep of our apartment community. You will assist in turns, general repairs, HVAC, preventative maintenance, and report to the Service Manager.

The role involves managing maintenance records, coordinating turnover, and ensuring safety and curb appeal while supporting a 100% vaccinated environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facilities/residential or multi-family maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• EPA HVAC certification (CFC Universal) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance needs and ensure prompt service to residents.
• Lead by example and uphold company standards and core values.
• Address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Manage maintenance records in software and schedule turns.
• Coordinate make-ready and apartment turnover to support leasing.
• Maintain preventative maintenance and curb appeal of the property.
• Assist with vendor relations, bids, and inventory within budget.
• Work weekends/evenings and be on-call for emergencies.
• Support Service Manager with team scheduling and training.
• Pursue professional development and stay updated on industry trends.
