Job summary

Priority Infiniti Chesapeake is seeking a driven Assistant Service Manager to support both our Service and Parts operations. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating parts, assisting customers, and driving department performance in a fast-paced luxury-brand dealership.

You will work with service advisors, manage technician flow, and partner with Parts to ensure timely parts availability. A strong customer-service orientation and multi-tasking ability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in automotive service leadership roles such as AS Manager, Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Parts and Service Department operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across service and parts functions.
• Proven leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of Service and Parts Departments.
• Act as a working AS Manager while helping oversee parts operations and inventory.
• Assist customers through the service process including write-ups and updates.
• Help manage technician workflow, scheduling, and shop productivity.
• Coordinate with Parts to ensure parts availability and efficient repair orders.
• Monitor customer satisfaction scores and service retention efforts.
• Assist with warranty administration and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
• Support coaching and training initiatives within the team.
• Collaborate with leadership to achieve department sales, service, and profitability goals.
