Job summary

Carleton Living in Texarkana, TX is hiring an Assistant Service Manager for the Pecan Ridge property. You will oversee maintenance of the community, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs to keep units and common areas in excellent condition.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with EPA Type II HVAC certification and at least three years of multifamily maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• EPA Type II Certification or greater (HVAC Certified).
• 3 years experience in multifamily maintenance and experience involving public contact preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report observed problems in units or on the property to the Community Manager.
• Maintain grounds and common areas in an orderly condition; patrol areas daily.
• Assist management/leasing staff with curb appeal and staging.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders; analyze patterns for recurring issues.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with turning vacant units within 3 business days; report status to managers.
• Be on-call for emergencies on a 7-day rotating basis.
