Job summary

Billingsley is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to join our Multifamily Maintenance team. This full-time, hourly role supports the Service Manager in day-to-day tasks and ensures smooth maintenance operations across multifamily properties.

You will lead maintenance staff, handle routine and emergency repairs, and maintain records and inventories while upholding safety regulations and delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Leadership experience or the ability to support and collaborate with a team effectively.
• Customer-focused attitude with exceptional communication skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to respond to on-call emergencies, as needed.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
