  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Chestnut Hill Realty has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join the team at our Hancock Estates Portfolio. The successful candidate will bring outstanding maintenance and customer service skills, as well as an enthusiastic spirit to ensure a first-class resident experience. This position involves significant interaction with residents and prospective tenants regularly.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform maintenance in units and participate in the on-call schedule.
  2. Assist in coordinating service staff and contractors to complete work orders according to company guidelines.
  3. Maintain knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects to ensure proper operation of systems, preventive maintenance, and resident service requests.
  4. Manage inventory of supplies and parts.
  5. Communicate regularly with staff, including Service Manager and Property Manager, regarding tenant and property issues, capital improvements, and other tasks.
  6. Train new staff on responsibilities and safety procedures.
  7. Code and approve maintenance-related invoices.
  8. Provide administrative support to the service department as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of maintenance technician experience preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Availability for on-call emergency situations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
