Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Service Manager for our Liverpool, PA manufacturing facility. You will supervise Service Representatives handling service orders and customer complaints, ensuring quality and timely service while coordinating workflow.

Qualified candidates bring exceptional customer service, strong communication, and solid planning and scheduling skills. This exempt role offers opportunities to lead a team in a growing modular housing company.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional customer service, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to address customer and internal concerns efficiently.
• The ability to delegate responsibilities and evaluate performance constructively.

Responsibilities

• Monitors service calls to observe employees' demeanor, technical accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Recommends corrective actions to address customer complaints.
• Answers questions about service and determine work procedures.
• Expedites workflow and ensures recovery of vendor parts and labor as per policy.
• Reviews contractor bills and ensures work aligns with charges.

Summary

Assists with the Supervision and coordination of activities of Service Representatives engaged in handling service orders and telephone complaints of customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors service calls to observe employees' demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies.
• Recommends corrective services to address customer complaints.
• Answers questions about service.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions for the Service Department.
• Ensures vendor parts and retailer labor are recovered as stipulated in "Champion Supplier and Retailer Recovery".
• Reviews contractor bills and ensures the work is in accordance with the amount they are charging.
