Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Service Center Manager in Liverpool, NY. You will be the right hand of the Service Center Manager, leading a high-performance team, supervising hourly staff, and ensuring policies are followed while delivering a fast, friendly guest experience.

You will manage floor operations, training, scheduling, inventory assistance, audits, and safety, open/close shifts, and develop your team to grow into a Service Center Manager role within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team).
• Customer service mindset and loyalty-building abilities.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Schedule flexibility; weekend availability likely, but no late nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and educate guests on maintenance needs.
• Supervise daily service-center operations and train new team members.
• Build loyalty through excellent customer service and efficient processes.
• Develop and maintain weekly work schedules for staff and ensure coverage.
• Assist with inventory and scheduling of orders.
• Participate in store audits (safety, performance, culture) and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Open and close the service center following safety protocols.
• Lead and train the team to optimize development.
