Cafaro Company is seeking an Assistant Security Supervisor to support security for a local retail center in Niles, OH. You will supervise security staff, uphold policies, and help keep staff, tenants and guests safe.

Join a team with a long-standing tradition of integrity and service. The role emphasizes recruiting, training, scheduling, reporting, and collaboration with the Security Manager and Regional Manager to meet daily needs.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
• Strategic planning and thinking as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military or management preferred.
• Clean criminal background and able to pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and security of the facility including staff, tenants and guests.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of all security personnel.
• Ensure security officers are following company policy and procedures.
• Recruit, train and develop security personnel in collaboration with Security Manager and Regional Manager.
• Ensure scheduling is handled effectively to best meet the demands of the facility.
• Assist in maintaining and processing detailed weekly reporting system.
