Job summary

The Cafaro Company is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Manager in maintaining a safe environment. You will oversee security staff, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor surveillance, and enforce policies to protect staff and guests.

You will collaborate with regional leadership to recruit and develop personnel, manage shifts, and produce weekly reports to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security or related fields preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

The Assistant Security Manager supports the Security Manager in maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing security personnel and operations. This role involves assisting with scheduling, training, and supervising security staff, as well as responding to incidents and emergencies. They conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and enforce security policies and procedures.

In This Role, You Will:

• Oversee the safety and security of the facility, ensuring the well-being of staff, tenants, and guests.
• Supervise and assess the performance of all security personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by monitoring security officers' activities.
• Collaborate with the Security Manager and Regional Manager to recruit, train, and develop security personnel.
• Manage scheduling effectively to ensure adequate security coverage that meets the needs of the facility.
• Assist in maintaining and processing detailed weekly reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

• Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
