Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands in Mechanicsburg is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to lead daily operations while keeping a creative edge behind the chair. You will mentor stylists, manage the schedule, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in onboarding new talent and driving the salon’s performance through service and retail excellence, with a supportive management team and room for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• Must have current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• This is a full-time leadership role (40 hours per week minimum).
• Must have the stamina to stand for long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, plus basic inventory and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and manage daily operations, including appointment book and guest experience.
• Coach and mentor stylists using the IGROW model to help them achieve goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure OSHA/state board compliance for a safe salon.
• Support local marketing efforts and partnerships to keep chairs full and brand strong.
