Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Florida to act as the right hand to the Salon Leader. You will supervise daily operations, mentor stylists, and help onboard new talent while sustaining a profitable, compliant, and vibrant salon culture.

The role blends hands-on styling with leadership duties, including scheduling, performance coaching, and guest experience focus. You’ll leverage experience behind the chair and your people skills to drive service excellence, staff

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Leadership experience is a plus, with strong communication.
• Good math skills for inventory and cash handling.
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team while managing salon operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations and manage the appointment book in Zenoti.
• Coach and mentor stylists to hit goals and grow careers.
• Ensure salon safety, cleanliness and compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Assist with local marketing and partnerships to keep chairs full.
