Job summary

Sun Tan City in Murfreesboro, TN, seeks an Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance and supervise tanning consultants. You will foster a high-energy, client-focused environment and lead by example to achieve productivity goals.

The role requires strong leadership, retail management experience, and the ability to schedule staff while maintaining excellent customer service and operational standards. Growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and oversee multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Excellent communication and delegation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in a client-centric experience and meet personal sales targets.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals for Team Members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports and assist with Salon Director duties.
• Help maintain staffing levels and control labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends as required for coverage.
• Have reliable transportation to the bank as needed.
• Work five days per week, ~40–45 hours depending on status.
