Sun Tan City is seeking a motivated Assistant Salon Director to lead a high-energy team at our Smyrna, TN location. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure exceptional daily operations.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and mentor; supervisory practices.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and client service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights, Saturdays and Sundays as required for coverage.
• Have reliable transportation to the bank as needed.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, ~40–45 hours depending on status.
