StretchLab Spartanburg is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to assist with front desk duties, sales tasks, and social media management at a health and fitness boutique studio located on the East side of Spartanburg. This position will start as part-time, with potential to transition to full-time or near full-time employment in the near future.

This is a dynamic role suited for a mature, reliable, driven individual focused on sales, aiming to help expand our membership base for a novel wellness modality, gain experience in business management, and become a leader within the studio and community.

The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, high energy, and a proactive attitude. Problem-solving skills and creativity are beneficial, along with a passion for health and fitness.

This role involves customer service, sales, and social media, so you must be good with people and enjoy selling! We welcome confident applicants with a proven track record. Retired professionals seeking to utilize their lifetime skills in a smaller, less stressful environment are encouraged to apply.

DUTIES:

• Assist with and help manage the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing
• Conduct phone outreach (NO cold calling)
• Book and confirm stretch sessions for current and prospective clients
• Greet and check-in clients, answer phone inquiries
• Meet individual sales goals and contribute to team targets
• Participate in special events such as health fairs and community events
• Create and participate in social media content
• Present and sell merchandise
• Maintain studio cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Love connecting with people and sales
• Ability to create a positive, welcoming environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong customer service talent
• Drive to understand and meet client needs
• Ability to exceed expectations
• Proficient with computers and relevant software
• Experience in a fitness or health environment is helpful but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Hourly rate of $15 (higher based on experience), plus commissions and performance bonuses
