Job Description - Retail Assistant Manager

• Providing a high-touch, elevated shopping experience that results in repeat visits and brand loyalty.
• Ensuring associate compliance with set guidelines to maintain a luxury in-store atmosphere.
• Adherence to the highest degree of professionalism and decorum, and modeling these behaviors for associates.
• Drawing on a strong base of product knowledge to educate associates, allowing teams to offer tailored suggestions to shoppers.
• Owning operational excellence in the form of shop cleanliness and standard opening/closing procedures.
• Assisting with execution of visual merchandising directives in close collaboration with Retail Manager.
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs and assist in receiving and processing shipment.
• At the direction of the Retail Manager, leading the team in completion monthly audits. Own the maintenance of accurate inventory records.

Retail Assistant Managers need to possess a strong set of skills to perform their duties effectively, including:

• Advanced customer service skills, including intervening for service recovery at the associate level and judicious elevation of pressing matters to the Retail Manager as appropriate.
• Comprehensive understanding of the luxury athleisure market.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and the ability to teach these skills to associates.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
