Job description

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week - must be able to work weekend rotations).

Summary:

Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the factory store. Implements strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Provides support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Remain familiar with the product line and 'suggestively sell' with the understanding of how Matouk products coordinate, match, etc. with each other.

  • Participate in the interviewing and selection process for Sales Associates

  • Train and supervise additional Sales Associate(s)

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the store

  • Organize product shelves.

  • Replenish store inventory as needed.

  • Answer phone inquiries as it relates to hours, directions and available products.

  • Use point of sale software and handle various forms of payment transactions.

  • Handle customer inquiries as it relates to product offerings, pricing and customer complaints.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures as they relate to retail store employees.

  • Other duties as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.

  • Solid math skills.

  • Retail experience required.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.

  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
