Job Overview

We are in search of an Assistant Store Manager with previous experience to help in supporting all operational and customer-facing tasks in store. This person will be responsible for store opening and closing operations, ensuring that all store operations are occurring as expected, and providing a great experience in store. This person needs to have a strong attention to detail and will be an expert in store processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating barriers to the Store Manager. The position reports to & receives functional guidance from the Store Manager.

What You Will Achieve

  • Manage a team of Brand Associates, setting expectations, goals, and developing talent.
  • Act as the manager on duty in the store, focused on delivering results while enabling a positive customer and employee experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products.
  • Focus on providing a positive customer and employee experience.
  • Set high store standards that reflect company brand image, values, and culture.
  • Be a subject matter expert on POP MART core business information including POP MART's characters information, products, and company history.
  • Support the company on marketing events such as in-store events, pop-up events, conventions, and new store openings.
  • Support the company RoboShop business as needed and follow up with in-store RoboShop employees and RoboShop business partners.
  • Improve sales performance of stores and meet sales key performance indicators such as store conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, and store sales trends.
  • Drive sales of company key products such as blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Visual Merchandising & Inventory Management (1 or the other depending on store size)

  • Execute visual merchandising and marketing directives from business partners while attending weekly calls.
  • Installation of marketing decals, props, setting up new merchandising planograms, and setting up marketing fixtures.
  • Re-merchandise the sales floor based on product sell-through or slow-moving product, making strategic decisions that align with business needs.
  • Work closely with Inventory ASM to determine BOH and warehouse inventory levels.
  • Required to work specific days of the week depending on visual/inventory management responsibilities.
  • Responsible for back of house organization, inventory management, receiving/transferring of goods, and weekly/quarterly inventory auditing.

Qualifications:

  • Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver a great customer experience.
  • More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail.
  • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
  • Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
