Are you an experienced food service professional with a passion for high-volume operations, a commitment to food safety, and leadership skills?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Smith Cove, located in one of the largest airports in the U.S., Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). If you thrive in a fast-paced food environment and are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you!


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage All Front of House and Kitchen Activities: Supervise and evaluate team performance, ensure completion of tasks, and provide feedback, including disciplinary actions.
  • Focus on Food Quality: Ensure food quality, recipe adherence, portion control, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Cost Control: Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Recruit, train, and communicate with team members; develop daily goals and maintain service standards.
  • Systems and Processes: Ensure adherence to company policies and health standards.
  • Merchandising and Displays: Maintain presentation standards and monitor inventory.
  • Office Management: Handle funds, media, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in monitoring sales and performance analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Address routine issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or coursework preferred.
  • 2+ years in restaurant/food service management or supervision.
  • Full-service restaurant management experience required; culinary background is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems; strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting at all levels and resolving conflicts.
