Description

We are hiring an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Hourly, overtime eligible - $43,517 to $54,396

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guests and patrons with friendly and professional service, excellent food quality, strong price value, and consistency of execution in an attractive, well-maintained environment.
  • Ensure that meals are delivered in a timely fashion with attention to plating, portion, and temperature.
  • Develop ways to improve cost savings, labor retention, and associate development to meet the hotel’s F&B financial goals.
  • Thoroughly train staff in service protocols and product knowledge, ensuring we meet each guest's needs.
  • Lead service education through daily line-ups and training programs for servers, bussers, hosts, and bartenders, along with ongoing development seminars.
  • Evaluate restaurant service performance daily and conduct employee discussions and evaluations.
  • Coordinate timely food production and collaborate with the Chef to ensure excellent quality and presentation of all food.
  • Manage selection and pricing strategies for liquors and wines, including supervision of procurement.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager and/or F&B Director in creating annual financial objectives through the budget process.
  • Help achieve financial targets by executing marketing plans, responding to opportunities, maintaining high operation standards, and utilizing marketing funds effectively.
  • Control costs in sales and payroll, working closely with the Restaurant Manager.
  • Supervise all non-supervisory service employees, training them on proper customer service practices and carrying out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and laws.
