Job summary

Jimmy John’s is seeking a Certified General Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead the management team, and drive exceptional customer service. You will manage staffing, scheduling, training, and the hiring process while ensuring financial performance and compliance with food-safety standards.

In this role, you’ll motivate a team, handle high-volume shifts, and maintain a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to work 40+ hour weeks.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Adobe-Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Able to provide feedback and recommendations on store and employee performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and scheduling for a 3–50 person team.
• Lead hiring, interviews, and performance reviews for management staff.
• Manage cash drawers and financial records with integrity.
• Coordinate training and onboarding for new and existing employees.
• Ensure food safety, customer service, and timely deliveries within policy.
