Job summary

The ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager to support individuals with developmental disabilities and ensure a safe, supportive living environment.

In this full-time role you will assist the Residential Manager, supervise staff, ensure implementation of behavior plans, manage scheduling, review documentation, and participate in licensing processes and emergency preparedness. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Manager in overseeing daily operations.
• Ensure behavior plans are implemented and data is collected.
• Maintain staffing ratios and address scheduling issues.
• Review progress notes, medication logs, and IPPs.
• Assist with meal preparation and community activities.
• Supervise staff and ensure quality care.
• Conduct residential meetings and encourage individual input.
• Report incidents and allegations of abuse.
• Provide transportation for individuals.
• Assist with licensing processes and emergency preparedness.
