Gateways to Change, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director to coordinate daily/weekly staff and consumer activities, ensuring programs are carried out and staff are properly scheduled.

The role includes direct instruction, modeling teaching techniques, and developing data-driven progress tracking. The position emphasizes collaboration with treatment teams, program development, and leadership with a focus on high-quality services for adults with developmental and physical disabilities.

Qualifications

• Some college in Human Services.
• One year working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with current insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, adapt, and maintain daily/weekly staff and consumer activity schedules to ensure programs are carried out and staff coverage is sufficient.
• Provide direct instruction to consumers and model teaching/intervention techniques developed by the treatment team.
• Conduct staff training on Human Rights, Behavior Management, First Aid, Administration of Medication, Detecting Illness, Communicable Diseases, Sexuality, Normalization, Data Taking, and Household Systems.
