Senior Living Residences - East Greenwich seeks an Assistant Resident Care Director (RN) to oversee care plans for residents, including dementia care, and to lead the Resident Care team. This role involves training CNAs and coordinating with families, physicians, and care providers.

On-call duties are required to support staff and the community, ensuring safe, compassionate care in a home-like environment. A Rhode Island RN license is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Rhode Island and a graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Experience in senior living or dementia care environments preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The Assistant Resident Care Director supports with the management of comprehensive care plans for all residents of the community, including traditional Assisted Living residents as well as those in our specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhood. The ARCD supports with the training of our team of CNAs and serves as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians and care providers.

• This position requires on-call responsibilities to best support the staff and community.

This position requires an RN who is a graduate of an approved nursing program with valid Rhode Island nursing license or otherwise meets the requirements of Assisted Living regulations, or equivalent. Experience in a senior community environment and a means of transportation to complete assessments for new and returning residents is a MUST!
